CORO 94 are pleased to announce an exciting new concert for July 2023!
‘SUMMER TIDE’ will take place on Sunday 23rd July, 6pm, at St John’s ARC in Old Harlow, Essex.
‘Music to lift and soothe the soul’
Join us for an evening of beautiful music inspired by the summer and the sea, performed by Coro 94 – one of the UK’s finest chamber choirs.
Programme highlights will include:
• Seal Lullaby (Whitacre) • Omnia Sol (Stroope)
• The Waters of Elle (Pearsall) • A selection of lively Sea Shanties! • And So It Goes (Billy Joel) • The Road Home (Paulus) • Shenandoah
• Ave Maria (Bruckner) • Hear My Prayer (Purcell) • Abide With Me (arr. Forshaw)
…and many more!
Relax in the cool and comfortable setting of St John’s ARC, Old Harlow – a spacious converted former church, which now operates as a thriving arts centre. The ARC has also been Coro 94’s regular rehearsal base since 2020.
‘SUMMER TIDE’ will be Coro 94’s only official concert of Summer 2023, so we expect (and hope) it will be a very popular concert! We can’t wait to see you all – old friends and new – and share in the great joy of live music together again.
The concert will begin at 6pm, with doors opening at 5.30pm. There will be a short interval during the concert, and we expect the event to finish by 8.30-9pm at the latest.
