Wow! What a night.

THANK YOU so much to everyone who came to see and hear Coro 94 on Sunday 27th March at St John’s ARC in Old Harlow!!!We had the most fantastic concert, and were blown away by your incredible response.
🎶 🙏  🎉 ✨

Messiah In A New Light‘ was our first real-world performance for over 2 years, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to return to the live stage. The whole night was magical, and we are still buzzing from it now! If you were there, we would love to hear from you with your favourite moments from the evening.

Maybe you’re still hearing one of Handel’s spine-tingling arias in your mind, or you were particularly moved by the the beautiful playing of our solo saxophonist Alžbeta Greenwood-Byrne and pianist John Byron?
🎹🎷

Or perhaps your ear-worm since then has been the brilliantly bombastic ‘The Trumpets Shall Sound’?! (That was one of our personal highlights, when the men unleashed a mighty surge of volume and power which almost knocked us off our feet!) 🎺🎺🎺

UKRAINE

We also know that many of you were deeply moved by our performance of ‘A Prayer for Ukraine‘, the piece which we opened the show with. It was very special for us to sing too, as the words have never felt more poignant than they do at this moment in time.

We were overwhelmed by your amazing support all evening, and that included our collection for Ukraine at the end. Between us all we managed to raise well over £300, which is amazing!

We’ll be posting again soon to let you know the final amount and exactly where this money is going – watch this space!
