‘Messiah In A New Light’

An evening of sparkling Springtime joy with Coro 94 and special guests.
Celebrate the arrival of Spring with a fresh new take on music from Handel’s Messiah, along with a selection of uplifting pieces for Easter and Passiontide including: ‘God So Loved The World’ (Stainer), ‘Thou Knowest
Lord’ (Purcell) and ‘This Joyful Eastertide’ (Traditional).
Coro 94 are one of the UK’s finest young chamber choirs, led by acclaimed musical director Michael Kibblewhite.
This very special concert will be the choir’s first live performance for over 2 years, and sees the choir returning in full force with an exciting new approach to the much-loved ‘Messiah’. Carefully chosen moments from Handel’s glorious oratorio will be interspersed with complementary pieces by other composers, to create a vibrant and joyful Easter celebration.
CONCERT START TIME: 6pm (doors open 5.30pm)
